Whats wrong with me....I will tell you!!!

For the past few weeks I have been getting told that I can not join the Airforce or that I should not go. Well, I am sick and tired of it. I want to do this for a reason...I want to make something of myself, have a good job, with a nice house and car. I want to defened freedom and I am willing to make a personal sacrafice for it. I want my friends and family not to worry and be safe in our country. I just wanna help people. Everyone tells me I am not going to make it through BMT (basic military training)...Well there wrong...I will prove it to you. I am sick and tired of hearing it is to dangerous and to hard....or you could die. Dont you get it I am willing to take that chances...I want people to be free...to do what they please. I want to make my life worth something...I want younger generations to have the same freedoms as we do now. Everyone tells me all of these "scary" stories about what could happen...I am sick of hearing what could. I need to do this...but nobody belives in me. Every person that tells me these stories were in Vietman...and guess what...they didnt want to be there. I DO. I will survive boot camp and I will defend our nation from all evil. We need people to help our nation in the time of need. I want to make my life different...Become an officer..not go to college and end up doing something that I do not want to do...I see it everyday...people go to college and not do what they want to do...I want to make a difference in peoples lives...If they know it or not. I need to do what I need to do....

Hmm. Well if you ain't got a physical medical problem then you should just get in fine. It's good to have a passion, something that drives you. I was going to join the Royal Marines but I got called away to do something better.

Air Force Basic is one of the easier BCTs. The military can be an excellent career...or at the very least, a good jumpstart into another career. Best wishes.

I'm so sorry for contributing to the mass of negative comments you have been receiving lately. I never knew you felt that way about it, Bryan. I should have saw the reason and the passion behind it insted of immediatly freaking out on you. I't just that some times worry comes out as hostility, but I never ment it to hurt you. I support you in all that you do, never forget that. Even if I whine about it and complain, I still support your dreams. I'll be praying for you, I will always be praying for you. I my goss Jeffers, I never knew this about you, it is really sweet that you want everybody to be free, and I respect you and give you the best of luck. Jeffers you shouldn't care what other people tell you. If it's what you want to do then do it. Don't let others push you around and try to decide your life for you. I'll pray for you and hope that all goes well with what you want to do.

I do care what people think. I want to have support when I join. I guess it is a little voice in your head and it is either a wisper or a scream and it is your choice if you are going to ignore it or not....and for me I am paying attention to it.

Seriously, Jeffers.....go for it, you're a little guy, but you'll be a decent recruit....but you'd better start working out a bit....you're much too small...and by that I mean you need to tone up the ol' muscles

Tex~ I know we need them. But I still don't feel comfortable with my close friends fighting for me. I worry. I am grateful, but it makes me nervous.
