Another Day

Heh...I've been wondering this for so long, Jeffers. I wish....I wholeheartedly wish that all of my friends would get along again. I've seen what can happen, Jeffers....you haven't had the bad luck to see what happens up close and personal. There's so much pain here....and, there shouldn't be. We're in high school....why so much pain? I try to make them see....I advise them....but, they don't listen...what else can I do?....I'm running low, friend. I mean....they all are friends with me....but they won't get along with eachother.....and all I can ask is, "Why? Why do this to yourselves and those around you?.....Why would you want this to happen? Why won't you fix it? Why don't you listen? Why don't you talk to eachother? Why do you tear yourself up inside and lash out at those that were so close to you for so many years?"

Perhaps there is no answer that can fully satisfy me....mayber there is no answer at all.....I don't know, but until we become friends again, I must play my part as the mediator, the advisor, the friend, the bodyguard, the soothsayer, the one they can turn to....that is my place in all of this....it is my duty...it is my responsibility.

Thanks, Jeffers...I finally got that off of my chest. I really like to help people...but if they don't listen then....then...it's just pointless....oh, well....gives me something to do I guess.

I feel you only too deep, Ghandi. The fact is though, we aren't who we were back in grade school. we are all trying to find out who we are and why it is that things are changing with out our control. it is a necessary but some what painful process, but, beleive it or not, i think we'll all make it through all right and be better for it. The important thing to remember is, don't let regret rule your decisions, and take everything to God in prayer.

Wow...that's awesome....you've just summed up adolescence, congratulations...now just get all our peers to understand that and we'll be just fine. *sigh* I shudder to think that only a handful of our peers grasp an idea such as this....well, I guess that's life.
