A Little Poem From My Heart

You bounce around in my dreams
thinking about you comes to mind often
for some reason I can't stop it.
it's like an addiction to drugs, but only to you.

I love it when you're around
things are so much better
you make a rainy day turn to sunshine
you make the wilted flowers become beautiful once again.

When you hold me, I'm safe
nothing can harm me
the words that you speak are soothing
they make my worries vanish

You are a true friend, and I couldn't ask for more
you listen to all my problems no matter what they happen to be
Some how everything gets better.

People get mad at me for turning to you
but what else am I supposed to do?
You're the only one whoe seems to care
yet in a way nobody else does.

You've been one of the greatest friends.

I like my poems to be free style. I don't think any of them rhyme. That's just the way I write my poems.

You both have obviously never read the works of Edgar Lee Masters or many other influential poets of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Through the troubling times I see

We got through it and
I guess I don't matter!!

Through the hard time of High School
I was there
But maybe okay not all
But that was b.c I was in most of them all

I've got a few rhymers in my archive...check them out if you like rhyming.

All poetry is freestyle...the only requirement is that they be in stanza form...
