~Trust~

My dictionary defines trust- as a strong belief that some person or thing is honest or can be depened on; faith.

Trust makes up friendships and relationships.

Turst can also break-up friendships and relationships.

Why is trust so important?

Trust is important to me because I want to have somebody to rely on.
I want to know the will be there when I need them or know they will be honest and faithfull.
It really comes down to if we all followed the "GOLDEN RULE," things would be okay.

Why is trust important to you?

Trust...
Trust is important to me because I'd like to have someone to be able to talk to and they won't tell everyone in the freaking world what you talked about. Trust is also important to me in the sense that you are sure someone will back you up and be there if you need them. You don't need to worry about them going behind your back and screwing you over. I hold the concept of trust in high regard...it's an important characteristic. Though I'm reluctant to trust anyone, I have given it to a select few and so far it hasn't come back to bite me in the ass...

You are very true Shaun, I hope I am that type of person, but really you haven't told me anything, that I can recall.

Here’s my view.

Trust is not what destroys “romantic” partnerships…. It destroys the friendship part of the relationship between two people. Love is an unwavering feeling, and if you “lose” your love for someone you never loved them to begin with… It’s the friendships that can break just as easily as I can break someone’s finger.

Trust is what you have with only a few chosen people. You should trust your parents and you should have a best friend that you rely on with everything. In my case, Jenn has been there for me with everything… she knows absolutely everything about me, from when I was destroying my body to my first kiss. I trust her with all my heart and I know that she trusts me with hers. Personally, I only have a few other people who I confide in and that’s it.

I have learned my lesson with trusting just anyone. And it’s especially sad when you truly trust someone and they don’t believe a word you say….. and you thought that they trusted you like you trusted them.

C'est la vie

Sam you are right. Our school you have trouble trusting anybody, because you tell one person and it is around the whole school in a matter of minutes. So trust a few people is all you have that haven't told. Thats that people to trust. Most of the rest can't keep at all.
