Object Naming Question!

Hi everyone! Kinda new to desktopX so please excuse me. I was wondering if you pro will help explain how to name an object, so that i would understand it a little. For example: if i have an object like a button that i wish to name it to something like "ME" instead of "Object", how would i got about doing this? Thanks you for your time and consideration. thanks you all!

Are you talking about when you export the object? If you are when you right click and select "export", you will get the option to name the object.

Is that the only way to name an object? What i don't want is the name to be under the object. I want the name to be on the object. Like a the submit button!. hehehe ... thanks a lot though.

Open the properties...if you put the name on the first tab in the "Label" box than I believe the name will show up under it...but you want to go to the last tab and put the name in the very bottom box where it says "Widget"
Below is a link to an example screen shot..Ths pink arrows is where to put the name for it to show up under...The green ones show where to put the name for it to show up in the object list...
