Cant Get Deskscapes to apply any wallpapers at all

from Stardock Forums

I just installed Deskscapes today. Although everything seems fine it never applies any wallpaper. All I have are black screens. I tried several different wallpapers, applied to all monitors, applied to a single monitor, but nothing works. Windows 11  version 25H2

Did you have v11 installed before?

If so uninstall v11, REBOOT and then install 2026.

I have the same problem.

 

I have uninstalled all previous versions of Deskscapes, and have tried the latest updates.

 

Nothing but the black screens.

 

I have an Intel 12900K processor, an NVIDIA RTX 3050 graphics card, running Windows 11 24H2.

 

Help, please.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. There is a newer version released mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/541656/deskscapes-2026-release-feedback-thread/page/2#3993503 (Reply#40). Please try uninstall, reboot immediately, install the newer version, reboot again. Retest and report back, preferably there in the Release feedback thread: https://forums.stardock.com/541656/
