All AI does is take away human creativity, it could eventually take away needed jobs, and people are even developing music with it now! Gee, why bother to have artists, bands or singers anymore.
It actually uses human created art to create algorithms for its own...that is to say, it plagiarizes human art. I've used it to create baseline images which I then work on, but I don't call what I do art. Worse are the deep fakes...and I agree we'll get to the point where they'll be impossible to verify/refute...and that bodes extremely ill for us all.
