Following DLC Folders Are In A State Of Partial Install:

4.01 Was golden.\

4.10 Not so much.

After twice validating through steam, I am receiving the following message when attempting to start the game:

The following DLC folders are in a state of partial install.

EXP2_Crusade

 

I don't have Crusade as a DLC.

I have:

Builder's Kit
Map pack
Ship parts
Ship designers toolbox DLC
Mega events DLC
Revenge Of the Snathi DLC

 

 

What's the scoop?

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

There is currently an issue for those that don't have Crusade, it is being investigated.

In the meantime you can go to the folder

\Galactic Civilizations III\DLC\

and delete the folder

EXP2_Crusade

for the game to run.

I also have this problem. There is no EXP2_Crusade in the following folder

\Galactic Civilizations III\DLC\

So there is nothing to delete to get this working.  I have already done all the other normal things.  How can I get this to work again?

Try renaming the DLC folder to DLCOld and then verify files.

Stardock put forth an update to correct this, and it's working for me.
