For the V4.0 New Planetary Crises to appear, do I need the "Crisis" setting enabled in the game?

Yes, it may be a dumb question, but just in case I'm misunderstanding something

OK, per the title, for the V4.0 New Planetary Crises to appear, do I need the "Crisis" setting enabled in the game? The "Crisis" setting I'm talking about is under Galaxy Settings/Game Settings, to the left of "Mega Events" and under "Game Pacing".

Yes, it may be a dumb question:| , but I just want to be sure I'm understanding that the new Planetary Crises are enabled the same as the previous Crises.

Well I never played a game with this disabled to try it, but I'm going to say yes.
