Maelnir Items without description

They are audiologs. They contain some info about the game's universe.

You have the game's language set to Spanish correct?

Yes, I've configured my game in spanish.

I supposed that it will be a multilanguage problem. I have changed  language to english but still failing. So, maybe is just a problem of my saved game.

Now that I know were I can hear these records of the universe  I will enjoy them for a little while.

I switched my game to Spanish and the names are showing up for me.

I suggest verifying integrity of game files. To do that follow these steps:

• Right click on a game in your Steam library.
• Click properties.
• Go to the Local Files tab.
• And there click on Verify integrity of game files.

I have verified my files integrity, but steam says everything is Ok

No subtitles for the records, and no information to read what they are saying.

any other idea for resolve this problem???

An anti-virus might be interfering with the game updating its files. Have it whitelist SCO. Probably a good idea to whitelist Steam as well.

Then go to the game's files and from the folder Star Control - Origins\Assets\Universes\DLC-EarthRising\Localization delete everything. And then try verifying files again.

I haven't got "Earth Rising" DLC. This content is from a DLC?

Maybe the error is there...game is showing "extra" content ...

They were released alongside the DLC, though I am not certain if they were supposed to be exclusive. I will ask.
