Civilization Editor question/request

I really enjoy making custom races, guess I'm not the only one.

But IMO having the human male showing up in the science screen when playing certain aliens is kinda immersion-breaking (sometimes I do get a robot instead, but I think we cannot select what to get)

So unless we can do that already (friendly hint appreciated) it would be cool to have some option to customize it in a simlar way we can choose leader fore- and backgrounds.

 

(Or is that possible in a more recent DLC? My last one is still Crusade)

If your using the Civilization builder ingame, your pretty screwed tbh. It choses what ever the base race you used I think? Failing that default to terran I guess. The ingame editor is limited in alot of ways. You can set this and many other options via xml mod, could even add your own.

Hey thx for the hint. I always thought th e in-game editor is nice since it's simple to use and saves me quite some time, but when you hit the limitations...Maybe I change to xml editing indeed...

I will make a note of this. It's possible we might be able to add some selection box for the in-game editor. Either way though as Horem says you can change this in XML too.
