New Official Civilizations?

Four New Achievements

from GalCiv3 Forums

I recently purchased the latest DLC and I started completing the Achievements still left in my to do list.

It looks like there is a crossover with Star Control Origins.  There are four new achievements: win as Mu'Kay, win as Mowlings, win as Free Trandals and win as Tywom.  These appear to be SCO civilizations (I do not own SCO).  It doesn't look like those races are available to play just yet.  That or I just don't know how to DL them.

They are SCO aliens, and Brad posted screenshots of them as GC3 civilizations in the Discord channel.  I have no idea though when or how they will be added to GC3.

Cool to hear there are Steam achievements for them!

Probably something they will add when they do the fall update Brad's been talking about.

Doubt they will become part of the official lore for Gal Civ, but adding them as races for sandbox is a good way for them to cross-pollinate their games.  Especially when they are porting some of the tech from SCO to Gal Civ anyway :D
