the freighter bug

whereby AI gets unlimited range with trade ships, and send them all over the universe.

this is finally starting to annoy me. Started my first ludicrous map after testing on smaller universes, and in the first 30 turns know civs from across the map, very far out of range.

Please fix this issue.

Its not limited to freighters, see here. Also been going on for well over 6 months, not been addressed in the current 3.01 patch either. I would not hold your breath for a fix any time soon tbh.
