Are Battle Pets a success or a failure?

Hi,

I am curious about how Battle Pets turned around. I did all of them back in the MoP days but abandoned them when WoD came.I remember people using the flavour of the month pet on every match.So are Battle Pets still somewhat relevant? Do people still play them or is it a dead minigame?

Please help.

keeps happening to me as well in Tanaan jungle with the Tanaan Tiny Terrors. Takes me 2-5 tries to start a battle. Then either 1 of 3 things happens: I'm able to fight, the battle hangs halfway through and doesn't let me do anything or it just ends pre-maturely with no warning
