So I've decided to give this game another try, was very hard since there is hardly any documentation online for it.
I think I like the Priestess the most. Destiny's Vision is very good early game boost, her army upgrades are accessible at the start instead of requiring heavy investment into her tree (Guardian I am looking at YOU!), she can heal shards, and she can lower doomsday.
But this "Destiny's Favor", the defining feature of her, what good is it? Seriously, what good is it? Destiny's Sentinel sucks, like horribly so. They're atrocious. They do awesome damage but they drop like flies, and being melee with no teleportation, they will drop like flies against any fight with ranged, and they are not expendable. In addition, they take just as long as Armageddon to get online, so there is literally no point in even pursuing Destiny's Sentinels.
The only other options I'm seeing are 75 damage (pffft), and heavenly ward, which might be useful on a unit or two, but I don't need 10+.
So, what good is Destiny's Favor? Can I use them to lower doomsday? Can I convert them to something useful?
edit: In case anyone is interested, I am 8 Chaos for armageddon. The units created here are about the same strength as an Air Elemental, but they don't cost upkeep, they are ranged, and I get shadow bolt for hypnotism. I'm still on the fence, Summon ice Elemental is ludicrously good, and combined with the Air Elemental's thunderstrike spam and their expendability it's awesome. On the other hand, Armageddon has Nightmare which is half as good as the summon ice elemental, and they are ranged which is better than thunderstrike.
