Could this run Ashes 1080p/60 on high?

Planning to buy a new laptop in a month or two, since the old one is busted. I of course want one good enough to enjoy AOTS, that I see myself putting many hours into.

How are these specs?

Intel™ Core i7-7700HQ Quad Core
8GB
15.6" Full HD 120Hz 5ms Anti-Glare (1920 x 1080)
OS Windows 10
8GB NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 1070 with G-SYNC®

Easily, the laptop 1070 is not far off the desktop, so it's a beast. You'll want it on the Extreme setting, or you could drop the AA a bit and through the Nvidia control panel allow the games resolution to go up to 1440p for a nice crisp image. If your laptop comes with G-sync (not sure the listing above is because the laptop has it or it's just being advertised as supporting it) then even if it did drop below 60FPS you would be highly unlikely to notice it. In short, you won't have any problems at all.

Damn even at 1440p? I didn't think it would be that powerful lol.  Is the CPU fine as well? I always thought games like Ashes and SupCom were more CPU intensive. Welp, I have something to look forward to, thanks a bunch

For a laptop that is already a top of the mainstream range CPU. There are a few faster laptop CPUs but they offer little improvement for a major price hike. Some laptops can even take a desktop CPU but only on beefy laptops and I would guess things will run hotter and have zero battery life (if that is a consideration), but if you are worried about it you could look into it.
