older titles and steam

i have Sins of a Solar Empire -Trinity and GalCiv II: Ultimate Edition on stardock.com and just wondering if i could use the keys i have there on Steam so that they are just a few clicks away from install instead of having to download launchers,select launcher and choose install paths each time i want to play them? or would i have to repurchase them through steam?

Steam won't accept the legacy keys; they have to be issued specifically to work over there. But if you are having any trouble downloading/installing from the store page, support should be able to help.

that's about what i thought... no real issue with downloading from the store just inconvenient and slow(not my connection as i have tested it on the same size downloads)
