Hey, Dear Busy Developers,

A rhetorical question:

What happens when  a substrate player uses scout drone and "whatever name" turret nearby enemy nexus at the start of the game?

I am disappointed with such basic quality assurance tests not being performed.

hey danail,

i read it in any thread, instead of kicking the craptower out of the game. They plan to give the scout drone a 2 min cooldown...

what to fix? I mean really? this is the new strategy? use drone that stays forever untill have decent aa, use craptower on rad node and watch phc die? that is very funny.

and if phc doesnt somehow die, that drone that stays forever is used to deploy sappers. this is beyond bad.

drone ability to give vision needs to go after 10 seconds

I have to say, those spy drones are really pretty tough, even vs decent AA. And they can be placed in places that they cant be hit. They only thing that could is aircraft and they don't shoot the drones. I haven't tested the gunships if they do or not, but they are pretty late game.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be changed, I think instead of a timer on the drone perhaps a timer on the tower?

Timer on drones. phc spends 50 quanta for line of sight for a limited amount of time. the same mechanic should apply to substrate IMO.

let's say I see drones deployed and I use quanta to block abilities and to save my worker. after 1 min, the drones are still there and the turret will drop on the rads so it's pretty bad game design. 

If let's say i have fast fingers and I counter block the drones and if those drones would expire after let's say 10 seconds, if they use them again they would not have enough quanta to deploy the turret. As it is now drone is a very good time investment, it remains there to harass phc for free.

Draginol, if you are reading this please consider that done ability to give unlimited vision for substrate is too much.
