Battles Bases .vs. Anomalies

When when you attack a star base (or other battles) you get Do you want to engage and can see the fleet (how strong they are) and likely outcome, where as anomalies you only see that it's defended, but can't tell their strength or likely outcome.

Seems a bit inconsistent.

I even think in the case of anomalies the first question (do you want to engage) is redundant because if you say yes you get the window with fleets anyway. I think the first question should be removed and the window with the fleets should get the "abort"-option. It would save one click per anomaly battle - since you need 2 clicks to start a battle on anomalies, that would be 50% less clicks.

exactly, but the attack window you can't click abort, you can only click quick/view.

There are currently only two types of battles with anomalies.

1) Defended by two pirate small vessels 3 attack..zero defense

2) Precursor anomalies, defended by 6 high beam and 1 high beam for a total of seven defenders None have defenses but do have at attack rated around 60. Ideally one ship with 65-70 shields and two weapons can take out a single one.
