Plans for ranked multi?

I'm not sure the player base is there for ranked 2v2, but who knows, could be a case of "build it and they will come". Games would take longer to finish too. A lot more people in ranked at the moment because of the weekend sale though.

2v2 tournaments would be cool. 

Ya, I saw player levels at 70+ over the weekend.

Was awesome.

Queue time was less than 2 mins!

I really can't understand why multi isn't more popular.

Bugginess aside, this is one of the best balanced games ever, in my option.

It mostly boils down to who does what, rather than PHC vs. substrate abilities.

Granted, I do wonder about substrate sometimes. 

Those shields and repair buildings can be brutal.

And the drone-zaps are rough too.

But it's PHC v PHC most of the time, anyhow, and the maps are essentially symmetrical.
