Hi, I am Nosscar, and i am new here.

Hi guys, i just wanted to introduce myself to this community, i remember when Ashes first launched, and i was thinking that looks good, but the high specs scared me off a little, and so i sort of forgot about the game.

But i was recently checking for a game to buy and i saw Ashes crop up again and the new 1.3 release, and after some checking it looks like i will be able to play this now at least on medium settings.

Heres what i have:

AMD FX 6300 6-core 3.5ghz

MSI gaming OC R9 280 3gb vram

8gb ram 

256gb SSD Drive

I also have Win 10, so hoping DX12 will help with performance.

So i am hoping i can play at a reasonable level. 

I am 60 yrs old, so long gone are my fast reaction twitch games, i started RTS games with Dune many years ago, and went on to play all the Red Alert series, i have also played Supreme Commander as well.

For the last few years i have spent playing X-Rebirth, and after that Eite Dangerous (which i still play and i am active on their forums)

But this will be a return to the strategy genre for me and i am really looking forward to it. I hope to be buying this game in a few days, i hope that you will agree my rig is good enough  to play this game.

I am mainly a solo player, but i might try multiplayer if i ever get good enough.

I have done some research and i like the way the devs care for their game, and interact with the community, i have also seen that this is a friendly pleasant forum too.

Hoping i will become regular visiter here and enjoy the game.
