Private and Corporate Leagues?

Just a quick thought.

Is there any possibility of seeing Ashes create regulated mechanisms for private leagues and tourneys?

Think private community ladder.

I'd love to see that.

Starcraft/Blizzard never did it.

But I always wanted it.

(Perhaps they don't want to fracture player base, but I think it would be an awesome addition)

Also, something else that I always thought might be fun is a corporate league.

Starcraft has an "after hours" league.

I'm not sure how they run it, but I always have liked the concept.

Teams from IBM, Raytheon, Lockheed, and any other organization that can field a few players... etc. etc.

Just curious if there is any thinking along these lines.

I'd love to field a team from my company.

here is a easy example:

There is a game on the IOS/Android called Clash royale

In this game there is a Section called Tournaments

How it work is you go and create a Tournament

When your creating a tournament you can choose:

  • How may days the tournament will run for.
  • How many players it will have.
  • Private or Public.
  • Tournament name and Description.
  • and of course have the ladder points ala ranked games.
  • Auto-match

For AOTS the idea is to add more options like:

  • Choose how many maps the tournament will have.
  • Choose witch maps you want to have in the tournament. (small/medium/large/epic maps/random/your own)
  • Choose how many players you want to play with. (1v1/2v2/3v3)

Really great Idea.

You'd need the "invite" controls too.

(for private, otherwise you just have a public league/tourney, like SC2)

The invite is already in the game.
