I just got an update for ashes but there is zero on what it actually is. I was 100% up to date last night but this afternoon I get another update. I don't like it when there is a stealth update and I don't know what it does!!
It is the map DLC which came out today. Even if someone does not own it they get it on their system so as not to divide the community; anyone can still join anyone's game, regardless of whether they own the DLC or not. Just hosted a couple of games with the new maps, I don't think the others had bought the DLC, so lucky for them 
Oh, so that is how they are doing it... I guess it makes sense, instead of waiting for people to download the map from the host.
