Never seem to be any available custom multiplayer games?

Apologies if this has been covered before..

 

I love the game but I can never seem to find any open custom multiplayer games to join. Whenever I go into Custom Match it almost always says "all lobbies are full". There are usually only around two or three small lobbies that are full already.

 

Is this just because the game is new and the playing community is small? Or could this be because I am playing from New Zealand and there is a region server?

 

I have had the game since release but have only found and played two custom multiplayer games I that time! I would love to play a 3v3 multiplayer but that seems unlikely :(

I don't think there is a region server but the game is played mostly by people in Europe or North America so to find the bigger games you would have to go online in the evening of those countries. So if 8pm is prime time in the UK then that is...7am in NZ at the moment so...yeah, not ideal :) In your evenings EU and NA are at school/work I guess.

 

Try creating a game perhaps. People are much more likely to join them than create them. Global chat coming soon, maybe this week, so hopefully that will make it easier to see if others are online and to set up a game.

having the same Problem here :(

Even when i open a custom game and name it so that everyone can see that it is for everybody, no one joins.

Is there a DLC barrier?

No, just a limited community.  We hope to bring in a lot more players this Summer via the Steam sale.
