when where get dlc on sale

I'm new to EU4.  I'm interested in the 6 major upgrades of the game.  (The graphics DLCs not so much.)  They are quite pricey.

Conquest of Paradise 14.99   (8 pounds from a European vendor)
Wealth of Nations 9.99
Res Publica   4.99
Art of War   19.99
El Dorado   14.99  (+5 flavor add on)
Common Sense 14.99   (+5 flavor add on)
The Cassocks 19.99  (+7 flavor add on)
Mare Nostrum 14.99  (+5 flavor add on)

I've gone to green man gaming, GOG, Amazon.  All same. Like $90.00  ouch, can't handle that!

Advice from Stardockians who have experience with getting these on sale.  When (typically), where?  etc.

Put them on your Steam wishlist. You'll receive an email when they go on sale. 

You could also keep tabs on them on other sites such as Gamersgate, Greenmangaming, Humble Store, etc. 

Paradox seems to have sales quite often. I'd guess you don't have to wait very long for at least a few of them to go on sale.

The last two on your list aren't likely to get huge discounts. "Mare Nostrum" was released April 2016 so forget about getting a good discount on that one soon. The rest will likely get the usual 66% to 85% discount at one point or another. Best way to get them on sale is simply, as heft pointed out, to Wishlist them on Steam and wait.

If you want to be a bit more proactive, you can check maybe once or twice a week (e.g. every Wednesday/Sunday) whether EU4 is on sale @ IsThereAnyDeal.com and you'll probably pick up most sales going on on various merchant sites. When EU4 is on sale, most DLC/Expansions are usually on sale too.

If you don't mind the grey market or however they call it nowadays, you can try G2A.com but I haven't personally tried it.

I did some research on g2a (never heard of them before your post. They havean extremely poor rep, extremely poor (2.x out of 10).  My suggestion: stay away from them.  Thanks all for the info....   :)   +1 karma
