Multiplayer score question

whenever i try ranke di end up having a higher power score than my opponent, even if they have a ton more units than me.

im thinking it has so,etching to do with the way I play.

i focus on T2 units getting out the door ASAP with bombers. So usually the power rating is right and i push into the enemy, but I mean, if they have a 3:1 ratio of units to me, added with defenses and other buildings and I only have a few factories pumping out units shouldn't they have more power than me with me eventually getting the lead there?
