To celebrate the launch of Offworld on Thursday 28th it would be fun to do a community stream after the offical Mohawk stream at 10am EST. 

If your interested in hosting a stream for a couple of hours or just joining in to play a few matches let us know. I'm thinking maybe 1.5 - 2hrs per host playing either open FFA lobbies or maybe some ppl want to do campgain or if your really brave some team games! The choice is yours. Nothing too serious just a fun stream to welcome the cannon fodder new players and promote this great game on launch.  Blues has opened up some discord voice channels so hopefully we can all meet up and have some fun banter whilst paying, also encourage some of the new players to get involved with the game and add the the great community that has been playing during early access.

 

If your interested in hosting post the time you can host in EST , your twitch details and what format of game you'll be playing and I wil assemble a list.

Not hosting and want to join in - post when your available and join us. 

Hopefully Zultar and I will commentate some 1v1 Tournament matches at some point during the day (dependant on Schedule) .  Maybe Soren and some of the other Devs will pop in for a promtional chat and AmA, and even play a few games?

I'll definitely be hanging around, I could take the 15.00-17.30 spot before you unless someone else wants it. Not sure what I'd do, could highlight all 3 main gamemodes - FFA, 1v1 and teams if we have people for those.

Btw, by EST do you mean EDT or just whatever the time's on East Coast?

Thanks Yerand, i wasn't aware of EDT, I have amended the OP and added UTC time, if ppl could post UTC times as well that would helpful.  www.time.is should help to synchronize things.

Is your time slot still OK?

I could cover from 21:00 EDT to 0:00 EDT and possibly up to 02:00 EDT. I'd be looking to do FFA if there's enough activity and probably ranked 1v1 if not (or maybe even campaign).

I would love to sign up but I don't have any capacity to stream because my computer is too slow. I tried it out about 2 months ago and the video looked awful. I will, however, be around to either play or provide commentary if anyone needs some help on their streams. I'm going to try and take that day off work to help out.

Insync might be streaming too but I don't think he's committed to a time yet. Maybe he'll chime in.

If I can find a faster computer somewhere I could stream a bunch of hours. Spare computer at Mohawk and a headset? =)

I can try and partially fill the gap between Morgan and Blues let's say 22:00-0:00 UTC. It's a bit late for me but I'll make special effort not to collapse due to sleep deprivation. However, I won't be able to do the commentary. So Blackmagic, if this time is good for you, I could observe and stream your PoV. 

Also might have a few free hours on Friday. but I will not know for sure until hm... Friday. I will be around lurking though and hopefully playing as well.

Maybe InSync and BM can do a joint stream?  You could get a skype chat going with InSync streaming and BM on voice?

I'll be around still I would suspect, so I can probably help out if you need.

That's the plan, will be a bit awkward, but we'll figure something out. Seems like my third world internets can handle streaming 720p@30, so we should be ok.

I'l definitely be hanging around in chat and on discord and if through some miracle I am still awake after Blues' stream I might even pick it up in the early morning. Still doesn't seem like we'll have 28 hours, but hey, it's looking good anyway. Also, can we call it something specific so that everyone sticks a name in their stream title, like "The Offworld Streamathon"

It's worth noting that Quill18 will be streaming tomorrow starting at 1pm EDT. So if we don't fill that gap, that's kind of okay, though it would certainly be good to for someone to be streaming before he wraps things up. I can probably just keep a stream going during that time tomorrow, then hand off to Yerand after.

Quill won't be the only one streaming probably. PrimEval maybe? Too bad Morgan's pal MD is out of town. Canada really needs to pick up the pace. :P

I might be able to stream for a couple of hours tomorrow as well, but I won't know for sure until tomorrow. I might even find a working mic somewhere in vicinity. Anyway, for today's stream BM had a great idea to try and make games for new players only where he can mentor them and give helpful tips.
