Ranked Queue Times Super Long?

The higher rank you are the less likely you are to be matched with an AI. Eventually you will only be ranked with other players, of which there may not be a large number of people at your level at the time of day that you are playing.

Rank 1 and Legendary players can expect to wait up to 13 minutes for an AI opponent currently. This is being actively watched and tweaked. Your feedback is welcome!

Have you guys considered adding a "wipe" function to individuals? I can understand how this can ruin things regarding the ladders. 

Also, when will the next ladder wipe happen? Wouldn't mind starting over again considering the changes to the capping times (which I approve of).

It would be nice to see if there are any players searching for ranked games.  Sucks to wait for 10 minutes+ just to pair up with a bot.

We have seasons planned. I can't say more right now.

Good suggestion! It won't make release at this point but we'll look into adding it.

I did end up fighting a bot at around 17 minute mark.  I really hope you add somekind of player counter to the matchmaking.

I'm really enjoying the game. I think the thing that bothers me the most about the queue is if I only have say an hour to play, waiting 15-20 minutes in the queue often means I will have to call it quits and not play. I'm not sure I have any suggestions to fix it but it is frustrating when I don't get to play! Especially now that I'm ranked high enough to take my rank competitively seriously

May I suggest some kind of notification feature for when your game starts? With 15 minutes + in the queue i find my self alt tabbing to browse while i wait. There is no indication my game is starting, and as people know if you miss the very start and don't capture the node while it's free you're pretty much screwed. Even if the Icon in the taskbar just flashed that would be enough

+1 some distinct sound would be nice..  I woul also like to see something like 3 second  strat time which is typically the norm of FPS games..  This would allow for the game to settle before start.. Sometimes my game stutters for up to 10 seconds in the beginning of the games.

E: BTW just remembered that sometimes the ranked match timer goes like 3 to 1 speed while waiting.   ´Could be just a small bug but maybe that has something to do with the queuing bug. 

I agree some sort of notification on start would be nice... maybe even a 20 second pre-match hold of some sort (that could be bypassed if both players hit 'go').

Also, I think my last four matches were all instant starts when joining the queue.  I guess I finally got lucky!

Keep in mind that the multiplayer community will expand significantly at release.

A sound at match start is on the wishlist of features for post-release. A counter for people in the queue is also on the list.

Sounds good, and no worries regarding saying more. Maybe consider it a monthly thing regarding seasons, similar to Hero status on Lineage 2, or however the team decides to go with it.
