Just a few Questions

heys guys,

first of all: i am a pretty experieced RTS player and i am having lots of fun with this game after the initial 11 hours of play.

but i really wonder about some things.

  • sometimes i really dont know where the damage comes from. like i see units going down but i can not exactly point out the source. this happens to me aswell as it happens to my opponents so maybe there is something like a solution to it?
  • pretty much the same goes with upgreaddes. it is REALLY hard to see how much your opponent upgraded his unites compared to yours.
  • the units damage is shown as dps. i actually dont like this, because of the different nature of attacks. for example there are 2 units with 5 dps. the first one shoots once per second. the other one shoots every 5 seconds for 25 damage. same dps, but VERY differen behavior on the battlefield. in face the first one is pretty stable and has a linear damagecurve. the second one has a "critical mass" point, at which this unittype gets really strong. this comes aith a certain number of this units in general.

im still testing.

regards

Yeah, sometimes there is quite the delay between a unit getting enough damage to die and it actually fading away/dying. I catch myself starring at units before going to a different screen to make sure it really is going to go down.

I think Tats is right, I didn't think there was a way of knowing? I agree it is important to know though. And I think the info should be easily found, like mousing over enemy units could bring up a small and simple pop up next to the cursor. Something like:

DMG: x3

HP: x2
