Lan Play?

Hello, I just purchased Ashes to play with some friends (steam sale made it seem worth while). I exclusively play lan with my friends and we usually play weekly. The FAQ page made it clear that lan will be included, but according to a GOG post by a stardock employee, it's not necessarily going to be added.

"LAN play is not going to be available with the initial release of Ashes of the Singularity. It is a feature we hope to add later." you can see their post in this thread: http://www.gog.com/forum/ashes_of_the_singularity/price_difference_gog_vs_steam

 

I would not have bought the game had I known that it wouldn't be there at launch, and may not happen at all. is this really how it's going to be?

Yes. Currently LAN play is not in the game nor is it expected at launch. We do intend to add it after release.

honestly I find that kind of missleading to say it will be there in the FAQ, but now you intend to add it "after release". you should update your website accordingly because I bought the game under false pretenses.
