Updated queued

I bought the beta version sometime ago when first offered. Now that the next beta 2 has come out the steam states that the update is queued but when I click play it attempts to update but the I get a error message

steam error ashes attempted to update but failed (Content still encrypted)

any help would be appreciated Thanks

Try opting out of any beta branches or try reinstalling and see if that helps.
