Where is map editor for the game?

I would like to know where the map editor is for the game. I've read a couple posts referring to a map editor, but they don't say where to find it on the computer or SK game folders. I'd love to be able to create in-depth customized maps or tweak a randomly generated map. Similar to map editors in Alpha Centauri, Age of Wonders 2, Starcraft, Civ 4, Civ 5, etc.

Some of the maps I wanna create include: Island chain maps. Symmetrical maps. Maps with only, say, 1 or 2 of each resource. A custom map with only 5 shards. A map where the SK has 10 strongholds around his castle on Turn 1. A map where each faction has 2 or 3 starting cities on Turn 1. Or other interesting map ideas like these.

Launch the game, then look immediately in the lower left corner of main title screen. You will see a "workshop" button. Hit that and then you will see a new menu with the map editor.

Yeah, way to hard to see easily!

Found it, thanks!

THe editor seems a bit confusing though. Is there a manual or tutorial or anything?

I'm wondering if enemies, monster lairs, treasure chests, and shards are generated randomly on the map when I start a new game using that custom map editor map? Or do I have to manually place every monster, every lair, every treasure chest, etc? It would be an incredible pain to create large or huge maps if I had to manually put in hundreds of chests, lairs, etc.

I don't think there is any manual or tutorial. I think all of the editing tools are mostly a "Plop, here it is" unsupported feature. I believe they said it they actually the same tools they use to make the custom maps and scenarios.

One thing you can do is go to the stardock youtube page and look through the last bunch Sorcerer King twitch streams. Scott was in midst of using the map tool in a few of the later episodes. I think it's somewhat hit or miss on that front though, there were some weeks where there was a lot of map editing, and then other weeks where it morphed into other topics/things/games.
