Crashes just as bad in the latest update =( Game still unbalanced, going to give it a miss for a while.

We still don't have a ton of data, but our crash rate seems to have gone down dramatically with the latest hotfix.  We've still got stability issues, but it should be much better than .82 and a bit better than .81.

Is anyone else still seeing the same rate of instability as was present after the .82 update on 2/10?

No crashes so far for me in the latest update.

Let's see if it is still stable now that I have jinxed my computer.

I played for around 6 hours yesterday and finished a game with no crashes. Though i have only been playing since 1.5 and the only crashes i had were when i was making new ships. In this particular playthrough I only created one ship because I wanted to win in any way other than War.

I think you have posted in the wrong forum/thread, this thread is about Ashes of the Singularity :)

I got non stop crashes with other players, and it was not only me crashing.

Yes. We saw your original post. :)

The good news is, your crashes do come to us.  The more you crash, the more data we get.

I played several multiplayer matches last night and tonight and didn't have a single crash.  More than half my games were ending in crash to desktop before yesterday's patch.  Not a huge sample size, but definitely a good sign.

Just got done playing a bunch of matches. No crashes.

Sorry to those who I played.  Beta 2 will make what I do less effective.

How do you know it's you using something OP and not the other player just not playing well or countering effectively? Sometimes things work the first time but then players adapt, counters are found, etc.

Wouldn't it be better to have balance changes during a beta process be more open to discussion and more transparent? Like making some topics about things that are potentially OP and eliciting opinions? I'd hate to see some interesting, creative build or tactic get snuffed out prematurely based on what seems to be a haphazard balancing process.

Well, I am crashing a lot and so are other players. I stay and stalk people in the on line match making. So, I do get a variety of people. And, Yes it does crash heaps.

When I play Spaghetti, it does not crash, but when I play a lot of others like yobs9874 we crash all the time!

Send him a message and ask yourself..

When you say crash do you mean crash to desktop or the game freezing at the beginning?

Yobs has problems about 30s into the game, it freezes for him

For me, it randomly cuts out without warning. Although, I have had no freezes, just cuts out.

Sometimes, I can play the same person for hours, and others it just keeps cutting out.

The game freezing at the beginning of a game is by far the most common game breaker for me at the moment.

So you are, so we are all on the same page, talking about multiplayer right?

yeh. I really like this game, but the map flick, crashes are really really bad. not to mention the random exploding buildings.
