why I think it's relevant here is because it addresses the topic of crowd-funding but more importantly crowd-driven games and I like the spin they gave to that. it's refreshing to be reminded what hard work the developers go through :

300+ developers are working on this project, its been 4 years and it looks like its taking forever to finish it

Anyway i did spend $250 on the game and my computer does not run the game very well so i will have to wait for my next upgrade.

Comparing Star Citizen to AOTS... well at least I can say that i am happy with AOTS so far and not with Star Citizen, for many reasons that i will not get into. Good Article tho.
