Units Can't Equip Weapons

I sent in a ticket about this issue but was unable to sent screen shots of it. Below is a copy of the ticket text that I sent in.

 

Hey I was just wondering if it was intentional that more or less all units cant be equipped with weapons. The exception in my game being the archers and Varda's Brigade. I've attached 2 screen shots of the issue.

On a minor note I've also had a couple instances of where equipment loot from battles have not materialized in my equipment folder (I recall this only because of getting some really good gold chest plate armor that didn't show up).

Thanks for taking the time to read the ticket and thanks again for making a fun and entertaining game. I look forward to the bug fixes as well as other updates to the game. Keep up the good work! :)

There is a workaround that works a lot of the time to get them equippable - but it's a bit of a hassle. You have to enchant some weapons, then save your game, then exit the game, then restart the game, then reload it and you'll be able to equip them - i tried it and it worked for some swords given to infantry and cavalry units that couldn't be equipped before (someone else posted it before - wasn't me that found it out.
