Until the game is released, you're not likely to find a lot of people top lay with.

At any given time, there might be 40 people playing the game with say 10 of them playing MP.

Once released, that number should climb to around 1,500 or with say 300 or so online.

We're going to do an update where you can see in progress games (you won't be able to join them but at least you'll knwo that the issue isn't on your end).

I think you once mentioned something like an alert system. So when waiting for a game you can do something else or SP and went a lobby goes up you receive a notification. Is that still going to happen?

Normaly players ask me to play ,im play a lot ashes not only for test units or maps but to improve over the new builds.

Now only vs the Challange Ai or normal AI until the game have a good base.

Also the replays are a need,  we have to understand what or wy we lost by watch ower game and fix what went rong,or even watch a possible challange players tatics before play vs them .

For ranked games yes. Lobby, still looking and seeing.

I tend to invite my friends into games when I create one which helps a lot.

Is that the real estimate? That seems to be a bit on the low end actually. Even FAF has a player base that has between 300-900 online players. I would have expected that Ashes tries to supersede that. Or is it really that bad in the RTS market these days / FAF is special because of the loyal playerbase?

Regardless of what the website says, I am pretty skeptical of the 900 players online in FAF.  That said, I am just looking at what other gaems on Steam has.  Sins does around 1,500 and it sold far better than SupCom did.

And really, according to the FAF page, they get 2,800 players PER DAY.  So not sure how ou can get 300 people being online unless a lot of people are leaving the lobby up 24/7.

Peak hours seem around 200 or so.  At least from a player perspective

900 Players is the high mark that is only achieved during weekends. Did Sins really sell better than SupCom if you include all the physical copies? I have my Supcom because I bought it in a store when it was brand new, did Sins ever have a physical release? I think what really makes the difference though is that Supcom especially through FaF in the end has a stable and loyal multiplayer playerbase. I personally can say that I like Sins but I'm not feeling a draw to come back time and again as I do with Supcom at least not for multiplayer which in and of itself might stem from the fact that its hard to find any open games.

If you compare the number of games that are open in Sins Multiplayer vs FaF you see a significant difference. Apparently according to steam stats there are roughly 500 players in steam alone playing sins right now but the ICO multiplayer has 50 people online. So maybe Sins is just much more interesting from a Single Player perspective?

I'm sure a lot of people Idle in the lobby, but right now for example there is 267 People in the lobby which will probably go up to 500-600 at least in the evening (GMT + 1 here), in general I get the feeling most FaF players are probably EU but maybe thats just because they play in my timezone.

Seeing how during a good evening there are about 15 open games at a time I'd say its rather full if you include the number of games that are approximately in progress during that time as well.

If Ashes reaches and holds that number I'd be happy enough, its rather easy to get into FaF games imho.

Why are we Talking about FAF? i am sorry but who cares?

AOTS will have its own player base and i hope it will have a good big one, at least 1.5k and if the Dev's are talking about keeping the game updated for years with new expansions and DLC's. So it will be even be bigger.

Going back to the Multiplayer Topic.

Every-time i get in a MP game it works fine for me only the first 2-3 minutes and then the connection in the game freezes ( Unit Movement, Buildings. ) its like if i loose connection and everything stops and nothing do anything till i get disconnected from it

  • When i create a game and somebody joins, after 2-3 minutes he get disconnected while i keep playing fine.
  • When i join a game, everything work for the first few minutes and i loose connection and get disconnected.

What may be wrong? that is happening for me since the first release/build for the Founders.

Any idea? tips? knowledge? support?

Thanks in Advance.
