I am having trouble understanding the nature of the stock market in Off World-
I am no debt making obscene amounts of resources yet my total buy out doest even break 1 million- The NPCs seem to double even triple those figures with ease. Even with numerous patents, 0 debt and so forth my shares value maybe 45- The npcs have gone as high as 100.00 whats the deal?
Two of the biggest factors in stock price are how much of your stock is owned and how much stock you own (buying your own stock obviously contributes to both of these, resulting in a very large increase in stock price). It's likely computers are simply buying stock earlier than you, raising their stock value in the process. Upgrading your colony is the other factor that will provide you with a large increase, although a $45k price sounds about right for a level 5 HQ.
But why os the AI buy out nearing 1 million- Or when I have 3 other companies I own from other buyouts I still have a low buyout?
