(Beta 7) Team chat issues

We attempted to play a multiplayer team game today to try out teamchat. Strangely, in those games chat jsut simply doesn't work. some people can see messages sent by others, others can't. You can hear the sound colonies make when someone sends a message, but you don't get anyones messages. I could see my teammates and no one elses, my teammate could see only mine, others could see some peoples messages from one team but not from their own and not vice-versa, it was just a mess. Even when I became an observer this was still the same. Ontop of that, I could not observe from anyones point of view once I was bought out.

 

In a FFA multiplayer game however none of these issues are present, except the inability to observe from anyones point of view. I assume that's a new UI bug though.

What do you mean by "the inability to observe from anyones point of view"? Which UI are you using. I know I changed the new UI so that you have to press SHIFT when you click on a player's name to observer them (and it says so in the popup help).

ah okay, but where is this popup help? Next time I'll look for it and see if the bug is that that's not popping up, that will mean I wasn't just being dumb! :P

I also noticed that you can't exit the match without closing the game after winning/losing if you chose return to the map.
