[Beta 6] Auctions

Played some more beta 6 and noticed a couple things regarding auctions:

 

  1. In one quickmatch yesterday against Blues there weren't any auctions at all
  2. On another quickmatch  there was no noise or announcement notifying you that an auction had started. The only indication I had that anything was happening was that the other player started bidding. If he hadn't bid I would've missed it entirely.

Were you playing with the new UI?

I wasn't. It was just straight up beta 6 in quickmatch.

 

I thought we weren't supposed to play with the new UI if it was in a competitive environment!  I slipped a spot in the rankings and have to get it back. Also some better people have started playing more quickmatch so I have to build a sizeable lead before they catch me! |-)

For what it's worth, the absence of auctions wasn't a consistent thing between matches last night; it was only a problem occasionally. Besides the game with Blackmagic, I had a game with DeathTacticus where auctions didn't show up either, though I also had games with both that did have auctions. 

I was not using the new UI either.
