Oh dear, a nation wot wos without ice cream.... my heart bleeds.

Nah, not really... break out the violins... wah, wah, wah wah, whah.

If that happened here in Oz, well I'd live with it.... sort of.  So long as the breweries didn't have recalls or go on strike.... I'd survive.

Meanwhile, our national nightmare lives on.  Every time you turn on the TV, there he is, Tony Abbot and his Dumbo ears.

Gotta be thankful for small mercies, I guess!   At least the TV stations have dispensed with using shots/footage that show him in budgie smugglers.

On the subject of ice cream, last night Bianca and I had some creamy English Toffee Swirl with Hazlenuts.... nobody else wanted any.

Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. }:)

"The company voluntarily recalled its products in April after they were linked to 10 listeria cases in four states, including three deaths in Kansas."

Enough said.

Good on the company for taking the necessary action voluntarily and not waiting for health officials to take the hard stand.   When it comes to recalling products, some companies drag their feet and slow the process right down... which is unacceptable when it comes to food products.  Fortunately, food producers are pretty quick to act, but some electrical and car companies are not, leaving consumers with defective and often dangerous cars/electricals, etc.

You are quite correct.... Trump is still breathing and could become much, much worse.

Hopefully, that opportunity never arises.

No worries here. No one around my neck of the woods sells Blue Bell. Edy's, Bryers or Turkey Hill.

Unfortunately, it will take a little while for them to ramp up distribution again.

"unfortunately"  or fortunately?    :)
