Suddenly SK got stuck while loading a game. Or the game before. Or the savegame before that. Anygody else got a savegame problem? Steam verify told me the gamedata are okay.
We made some fixes to loading save games for 1.01. You may want to opt into that build to see if it resolves the issue.
No, changes nothing. But you (metaphorically speaking, not you personally) succeded in making me to ask for my very first refund from Steam. That game is definitely not past beta state.
very strange , many hours 100's of save/loads. never had this problem.
Have you gone through the complete un/re-install procedure as outlined in the support link? I ask because i have had "strange" issues were steam verify did nothing but the un/re-install procedure fixed
On what level was the game saved? You can't expect to load a game on 1.0 that was saved during the beta.

@Lucky Jack: I wouldn't be so pissed if I played a beta, but I bought a game labeled 'finished'. In a beta the kind of inconviences I encounter in 1.0 are something to be expected, not so much in a release game. To be more precise: I started playing with 1.0.
I think the loading problem might be tied to the unit duplication error you encounter if you hypnotize SK units like Fallen apprentices or Shadow Commanders. I did that a few times - perhaps that fu the saves so much it creates the loading problem.
@savegame: okay, I'll do that if at that time I still got an account; it would help if you supplied the most likely savegame path. On Windows, it tends to be all over the system.
The default save game directory is
C:\Users\[YOUR NAME]\Documents\My Games\SorcererKing
With [YOUR NAME] being your windows username
We are looking at the unit duplication issue now. If the two issues are related, we'd love to knock out two bugs at once! We'd very much appreciate the save game file.
