What?! Omarrrrr! I'm coming for you!

(Thanks for the statistics btw)

Considering 7 of those losses are due to match-making failures rather than actual losses, and the 1 loss I did have I literally fell asleep at my computer whilst playing... I'm happy where I stand :P

Seriously though, good work guys for being active in the match-making. The more active you are, the higher the skill level of the pool as a whole rises. Now, if only I could figure out why there's a tie column....

There are quickmatch tiers? I thought after my first 5 games that I'd be matched up against newbies indefinately.

Well, considering the amount of people playing is still not that large I'm pretty sure you get paired against whoever else is playing. And even though I've had my first actual loss yesterday, I'm actually surprised to see so many good players on the list, I thought people ignore quick match completely because there's not enough challenge. Guess I was wrong.

Hmm....looks like I need to play Quickmatch  to get on to the bottom of that list. I normally just look for multiplayer games.

Not a surprising list really. All good players on there.

I'd be more interested in playing quickmatch if I knew that I wouldn't be matched against new players at some point.

Some movement on the leaderboard: https://twitter.com/mohawkgames/status/620858364822691840

I appeared on it! Yay!

ps. I would really appreciate a notification sound when a quick-match is found because sometimes it takes a while to find a match and I'm doing something else.

I really should start playing some of these quickmatches.

I've tried to play some quick matches but i've gotten through an entire skirmish without finding anyone else. Weird.

Just commenting to agree with Cubit. With 10-15 minute queues not being uncommon, a sound that plays to alert you when a game starts would be amazing. The loading times for a 1v1 are so fast that just alt tabbing for 15 seconds while you wait can cost you a game.

the way I deal with it right now is running OTC windowed and browsing the internet in a window that doesnt completely overlay OTC.

blues is doing pretty damn good! we better figure out who he is and what cunning diabolical plans he's up to.

Yes, this is not at all acceptable.

I'm coming for you Bluessssss!!!

Clearly this is a time for me to lay low, so my win-loss ratio stays intact ahead of a stat reset for beta 5 :P

But yeah, looking forward to seeing how a fresh leaderboard would shape up without people being saddled with fake losses (I have none).

Core of the plan: (unintentionally) avoid insanely good players like you. I'd probably get crushed if we ever get matched up, but I can't help but be curious, so I hope it happens at some point. It'd be a good learning opportunity for me, if nothing else.

You beat me in our one match and I'd love to see if I can get some revenge (though the reverse is at least as likely). Bring it on!

I thought for sure my 2-0 record would get me on the list this time!

Im fairly confident my record will keep my name on there for a while to come. How are people finding matches? Im searching in b5 lots at 2 pm eastern and finding nigh nothing For hours straight.

Are you searching on the next_version? I reckon it's impossible to get a quickmatch game on the next version... Does take time on the current one too but it's not impossible

the 21st of August seems forever away. Where are we at now?
