5.4 Shard Weirdness

Hi,

what are the rules regarding attacking and defending shards?

as i see it now, i cannot "enter" an unowned shard (enemies can though), and therefore i cannot attack a monster who is "standing" in the shard

the same is true if it is a destroyed shard, attacking not possible even if the attack icon appears.

 

however, if i own a shard, i can move right on top of the shard.

 

now, if a monster is attacking a shard i own and therefore standing in it, i  move on top of the umberdroth attacking the shard instead of attacking it.

how is it supposed to be?

Yeah, can confirm this strange behavior.

 

I think that aside from my Let's Play, I'm going to put this game on hold until release. Some weird bugs that have been around for too long and the fact that the balance is completely out of whack is really reducing the enjoyment for me currently. Still a great game, but some of this stuff is starting to irritate me more than it should.

i also noticed that minor factions attack their own shards, which is proably a bad idea:
