Production/Upgrades

1) It is not clear that you need pioneers to upgrade outposts. I figured it would use production from the nearest city at first, but then found out online that pioneers are used for the upgrade.

2) I don't understand how production is calculated, it seems like you can ramp up a city quickly from tiles to build things fast but still can never get below 2-3 turns to produce something.

3) This was discussed a while back and I think it would make sense to use at least some production to build improvements in addition to the logistics cost.

4) It would be 'nice to have' a production queue of just one other production item on a city.  It doesn't seem like more than 1 additional item is really needed but there are cases that I know what the next thing I want to build in a city is.

1) I guess it is hard for us long-time players to see the obvious problems from a new player. I guess you are right. More information / tooltips.

2) Production is based on the numbers of hammers in each tile you have little small white houses with a red roof. Furthermore various spells can add hammers and some spells double this. If you hover your mouse over the hammers in the city view, you should see a detalied break down of how hammers is calculated.

3) I do not really know what you want to communicate/ask. Can you rephrase the question again with more information about what was discussed (and where).

4) I believe this is a design option of SK, and that is the way it is. I do not believe there is resources to change this.

1) Maybe coincidental, the tip on the last four loading screens state that pioneers are used to upgrade outposts.

2) This is a non-issue I thought production was being applied to units/building logarithmically, but I think it appears that way somewhat from some loss of production with production not carrying over from turn to turn.

3) The improvements I am talking about are the resource improvements (shard, metal, crystal, horses, clay, etc).  The post I was referring to is http://forums.sorcererking.com/458463/.  I just agree with resource improvements having a production cost in addition to logistics.
