[Request] OPTION: for Techblueprints trading (instead of ALL or NOTHING)

As there are already not many Diplomatic possibilities, would prefer an addition to the Option TECHTRADING YES and NO

I didn't like that TECHTRADING in any game, as it is abused from AI and humans ... and it even makes no sense.

For me RESEARCH also means to prepare the whole infrastructure of that empire to manufacture that developed item or use this idea.

SO TECHTRADING is somehow terrible ...
in HOI 3 they implemented that idea that you trade BLUEPRINTS instead for a Bonus of 10 - 20 % for development in that field ...
SO YOUR TECHTEAM should develop that up to 20% faster as without that Blueprint ,,, (only one Blueprint per item possible)

So 20% for items you could Research yourself
and
10% for restricted items to your race, apart from that, that you now are able to research it

DEAR DEVS PLEASE consider such OPTION, that TECHTRADING is terrible and abused ...

and NO TECHTRADING is also not fun, takeing some fun out of diplomacy

THANK YOU and much luck for the todays release !!!!!!!!!!!!

Tech trading isn't bad here. THe AI really values it's tech and generally want more then your willing to give it. It's also a startup option you can disable.

The AI do not value it enough. Cash is too easy to make in GalCiv3 via selling techs, resources, and treaties. Everyone starts out with 5k and within 10 turns I can pretty much sell non weapon techs and have all the AI's cash. On levels above normal the AI have insane sums of cash. Trading them treaties for cash I have got anywhere from 2-10k. Then you just buy all the techs.

I like to buy the AI's flagships and get all the goodie huts on the map.....

If you play as a trading civilization or one that specializes in diplomacy it should be perfectly possible to trade plenty of techs.

If you play as an ally or friend why would a race not give you their techs?

Not saying your idea is bad or good, just commenting on your overall assessment.

I play a custom race that is unlikeable (-2 diplomacy) and I am able to trade right away without no penalty. I offer treaties to the races I like for their cash and I toss in a few good tech since they are going to be on my team. Then I buy the techs I want from the races that do not like me. I guess credits trump their hate for me. Then when the time limit is up I attack the races that are hostile towards me.

I have been playing on medium maps lately with 9 major AI and abundant minors. I can sell enough techs and treaties to buy as many colony ships or constructors as I need until I have all the planets and resources anywhere close to me. That is a bit too easy…And the funny thing is the higher the difficultly the more cash to have the easier it is to beat the game.
