Tactic to deal with sabotage

Not sure if this works, but was thinking that if you own the nanomachines patent, would it not be quicker/more efficient to scrap frozen buildings and just rebuild them, as long as the frozen cooldown is greater than 20 seconds?

Havent been able to try this, was just daydreaming and thinking of strategies/tactics.

I have, and it turns out you cannot scrap disabled buildings.

+1 for creativity too bad it does not work. But great thinking.

But apart from patent reducing sabotage time and being scientists or using goons I think the following helps you out somewhat:

- Spread your production across the map so its harder to both A) sabotage all your stuff and B) find all your stuff quickly

- if your going geotermal expect to be revolted and save up for a goon. In the current meta it is an extremly common tactic

- Other high risk targets are your patent office or engineer and off world etc. Spread them out. Goon them etc.

- If a building does not require to be near HQ and you do not need it to have an adjacency bonus then try to place it in between opponent buildings - A) he needs to find you among his own buildings B) his EMP will be very ineffective use  on the other hand make sure you do not have a building of same type as the ones near you as then he would get adjacency bonus if he rebels you.

Also dont know if this works but if you predict a disable or say power surge can you turn off your power right before it hits to cancel it out? That would be a very difficoult to predict but also cool move.

Again, if your buildings are turned off, I've been there, when they get Emped, the emp still works, just you care a lot less if you actually had a reason to turn them off, usually cos I was autosupplying and whatever it needed got too expensive.

that depends on the cost of resources needed to build in relation to the cost of produced resources.

while frozen, nothing can be build, it also freezes construction.
