Time that the keys will be delivered?

My assumption has been so far, that the keys should appear in our Stardock account around the time the countdown clock on the website expires.  That's 1:00 Thurs. for me in the USA eastern timezone.  Here is the statement in another thread when I asked that question:

Your key should appear on your store downloads page once it is available. You should get an email too, but it can take a while for them to all go out after the announcement so the store page is the quickest way if you're raring to play.

This as simple as Start Steam client, Games, Activate a Product on Steam, paste in the key from the StarDock store page or is something extra required due to the Early Access?

Typically things go out in the afternoon EST.

So, given that, I'm starting to think that the countdown timer may be the start of it available on Steam, and then sometime later in the afternoon the keys will be available on our account.  Is that accurate?  I'm trying to picture whether its an automated process, or if there is some Stardock person requesting keys from Steam one account at a time when it becomes available on Steam.

So it sounds like we messed up buying directly from Stardock. Anyway I can cancel my order and buy from Steam at this point? I don't want to lose those extra hours of play.

I'm picturing some poor guy that has to type the steam key into each buyers individual account, but seriously, this forum will be flooded at release time if people don't yet have their keys. I couldn't imagine keys not being available at launch time.

already received mine and activated on steam but no download and the game is not in library. 

Even though keys are starting to show up in your accounts, the game won't be available on Steam until around 1pm EST.

Yep got my key. Can't wait till I get off work.. Then cook dinner...  Then bathe baby... Then take dog out... Then put baby to sleep... Then play all night!

sounds like my night - minus the dog! Can't wait - hopefully wife can pick up some slack while I game tonight!

have entered the key into steam, but it vanished ... no where to see atm ... will restart steam now

if it's not in your library readd the key and you get the option to install

There are still three of us waiting on the Gift Edition keys to be distributed. Has anyone gotten those yet?

Did someone who bought the game directly here already got his (or her) key? Those who bought it on steam are already playing it. This is rather unfair for those who bought it here much earlier!

I bought it here, and the key was in my account, about an hour before it went live on Steam.  I was able to download right at 1:00pm EST.  Just finished, since my connection is only about 1Mbs.
