SK Graphic Style

Are these the graphics for the final game?  I don't find the art style anywhere near as good as LH, to be honest.

I’m totally loving the new art direction, its vibrant, colourful, interesting, and I totally love the cartoony approach, it’s not overdone so retains a good sense of realism.

I also like the new way in which cities are now represented on the map, they look gorgeous and don’t drain FPS. The city upgrade graphics are also very nice you get a great sense of progression.

The art style defiantly fits the scene perfectly the little tweaks to unit animations is brilliant, the world seems so alive. I would however like to see more interesting characters roaming the world, but I’m sure more monsters etc. will be added soon. The diversity between biomes is very good, plenty of good variety with each biome looking very different.

The only area for improvement is the 2d map, I hope they add plenty of polish to this, I don’t like the way units are represented by tokens, and would like some colour added to the maps, I prefer the LH style of map.

I tolerated the FE art style. I love the SK art style.

FE:LH felt more gritty, SK feels more cartoonish. It's not really it's own style, I think - too much Warcraft 3. And I'll forever miss equipping a weapon in FE:LH and actually seeing the weapon.

I like new art direction. WOM was ugly, FE/LH was way better, but I still didn't like it's graphics. SK looks sweet. Maybe a little too cartoony, but I really don't mind it.

What he said.

FE/LH has a nice dark feel to it, Sorcerer King not so much.
