Option for unit deployment

Is it possible to implement( in SK and in FE) an option to choose how to deploy units? I had real trouble in FE with my fastest unit getting stuck behind the slow ones and missing a turn or my whole army starting behind a big hole in the middle of the tactical map. I haven't seen such problems in SK but I haven't seen a stream that shows larger armies in combat.

In FE units would get stuck behind others, in LH and now in SK (I think also in SK) units can walk through each other. This pretty much alleviates that problem.

What if my melee hero begins combat in the last line? He still needs more time to get to the front lines. Or what if my entire army starts the battle in the worst part of the map? Passing through units solves one problem. Does aranging units outside of battle at least define their starting position in battle? Many games let you choose how to deploy units and it is a great thing. I don't see why it wouldn't be implemented here.

I'm fine with creating a default way to deploy. Then when you have the battle options it could be like autoresolve, engage, deploy. That way if there was a specific threat you need to do something different with your units, you'd have the option, otherwise if would go with your generic deployment scheme.
