Suggestion: Out of town buildings take time to be constructed
Right now the buildings outside the towns (Shard shrines, wheat farms, etc) get constructed instantly. They should have a production cost and go towards the city production income.
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

Agreed. There is very little consideration for building this buildings. At least a mana cost.
I think the implementation is fine as it is. The logistics point cost, especially early to mid game, is enough of a strategic choice to balance the construction of these resource collectors.
Definitely not this.
I agree that the logistics cost makes the choice to build or not build interesting enough as-is.
HOWEVER, insta-build trivializes the destruction of thee resources. Thus when the SK's units ruin your metal mine, there is little consequence. You just click build again, and problem solved.
Adding a 1-2 turn build time would give you more reason to defend your resources. Outposts are already effectively invulnerable as it stands.
